Own It SLC
Recorded in Harvey the Short Bus and inspired by Own IT the live performing arts event in SLC, this podcast is an extension of a visceral experience of synergy. We are the artists, innovators and rebels with a cause. Our goal is to keep listening, questioning and bringing it to the mic. Harvey is a fully operational recording space on wheels. We invite people inside to share their writing, music, thoughts and stories. Our hope is to ignite the spark of art wherever we go. Hosted by SLC poet and recording artists Sarah Kappos this show is an exploration of how humans be, how they want to become and the role creativity plays in this evolution.

E120 Menace
Two years ago, we met Menace. At the time, he had over 150 tracks recorded on Youtube. He gave his first stage performance at Own It, and had the whole crowd on their feet.
We talked with him about how to let go of addiction as the muse for the music, and what comes after it. Own It has always been about evolution of language, truth and art. Menace embodies all of these. As one of the only rappers in Vernal, Utah, Menace obviously has the passion to keep making music, no matter what his circumstances.
**Stay tuned for two songs at the end.
